As it is I think I may have learnt quite a lot and so am going over my holdings and perhaps what I ought to be holding with a finer toothcomb than normal. I am increasingly orientating towards wealth preservation as much as generation (Guy Spiers) and through companies that will last (Mathew McLennan, Francois Rochon) and have a capacity too suffer (Tom Russo). And management teams that I trust to deliver and do the thinking for me (T Rowe Price). Whilst at the same time leaving enough for me to enjoy myself (Aswath Damodoran).
The only change in the portfolio was the addition of Land Securities LAND. I don't think it has been overly clever but it does finally seemed to have woken up to the fact that the world has changed and now seems to be copying the approach of British Land, in terms of development types. I am quite a big fan of companies that are not overly clever and can just improve their position by doing what others have already proven to work. So LAND is now in the portfolio at 621.72p and I will be looking to buy more.
